On Monday we headed into the City to explore. We started at the Botanic Gardens (obviously!) and had a lovely walk through them and saw some great cacti and trees.
We went to the Museum of Moving Image which was really interesting to see how film and tv have developed and then had a look around Federation Square which is the "unofficial" main square.
We then headed to the central business district (known as CBD) and took a free city tram that took as around the area and had a good look at the sights, and then a walk around to explore the small laneways and roads.
Tuesday and its our last day in Melbourne and off to meet up with a friend at Brighton Beach. Great to see H and catch up on life and have a lovely lunch and a walk along the beach and look at the beach huts (called beach boxes here!).
