After our after on the beach the next day we head to Cathedral Cove just along the coast where we took an half hour walk along the cliffs to a beach with the rocks coming out into the sea with a hole right through it.
We then get back in the car and head off to Mount Maunganui which is an old volcano with walking tracks to the top. We make it a day of walking so head to the top which is about 232m high. From the top it gives nearly 360 degree views - fantastic!
