Now while wandering around Napier we stumbled across a shop called Madisons. It is a homeware / florist / cafe shop. They had lovely glassware, sofas, tables and chairs, candles, vases. The flowers were beautiful pale pink roses, deep fuschia peonies and all things that I would love to have on the table at home. The cafe was lovely too, great coffee, orange and poppy seed cake, chocolate brownies and milkshakes in a great space with comfy chairs and magazines to look through.
I think it is one of the nicest shops I have been in for some time!

ReplyDeleteEverywhere in NZ looks fantastic. I'm a bit jealous! Sorry for lack of contact. Life is just crazy at the moment and I'm trying to get over to mum this weekend as she is now in hospital and not doing well. You've probably heard about all the snow that has completely ground the UK to standstill !!! I will try to call you next week, although I need to check on the time difference and not wake you up.
