Lake Taupo and sunshine

After our long day walking we head up to Lake Taupo and a few days relaxing by the water and fortunately for us the sunshine arrives!!

Matthew goes for a parasail on Lake Taupo and there are some stunning views across the lake to Mount Ruapehu. Before you know it we hit the road again and head to Matamata which is home to Hobbiton (more Lord of the Rings). We do the tour of Hobbiton which has been rebuilt and expanded since the last time Matthew was there. Will look forward to the release of the Hobbit in due course!
