Dunedin, which is often referred to as the Edinburgh of NZ, is pretty quiet on the Sunday after new year’s day and also grey and a bit chilly. We wander into town and other than a few cafes and restaurants everything is shut. We take a look at the railway station which is the most photographed building here. We then head to the world’s steepest street called Baldwin St which has a 1 in 2.86 gradient, we walk to the top and after catching our breath admire the view and walk back down...it is steep!!
