Saturday in Melbourne marks the start of the spring racing calendar with racing at Caulfield Racing track, which is conveniently located very near to where we are staying. So we put on our smartest clothes (well borrowed some!) and jumped on the tram to the track. There are thousands of people dressed up and spending the day in the sunshine. We had a few glasses of bubbly and put a few bets on and managed to pick the winning horses in 3 races!! thanks Anacheeva, So You Think and Linton for our (very small) wins.
Congrats on picking the winners. Hope you at least had some extra cash for a few glasses of champagne!
